IBEN TOFT NØRGÅRD

In Erupting Flowers Iben Toft Nørgård approaches 'plant life' in ways we have not yet seen. In a number of imposing works, a novel fauna is displayed from an untouched (unexplored?) parallel world that resemble something we know. Sprawling in barren lava are colorful and curious plants, gracefully shaped with details from both birdwings, fishing heads and other parts of wildlife.
